Arkfield is pleased to share that Toronto City Council has approved our plan for a 17-storey, mixed-use development at 6125 Yonge Street, bringing 437 new residential units to the area. The current commercial plaza and parking lot will be replaced with a modern mid-rise building. While the initial proposal included a high-rise tower, the approved design features a mid-rise building that provides the same residential density and achieves the highest floor space index (FSI) among the developments in the area. With the upcoming extension of the Yonge subway line, this development is perfectly positioned to support North York’s vision of a vibrant, transit-connected community.
